Detailed illustrations allow for precise location of points whether located in reference to bony landmarks, muscular landmarks, surface anatomy, or with accurately scaled traditional measurements.

Important clinical points are distinguished with easily identifiable symbols. The elemental points are all color-coded to match the element to which they pertain, the horary points are demonstrated as clocks which are slightly larger than the other points so that this point can be easily distinguished as the elemental points of that channel. The alarm points are designated by diamonds with the abbreviation of the affiliated channel written within. The back shu points are designated by square points with the associated channel written within the symbol.

Each channel has been drawn individually as a black and white line drawing which surrounds the chart.
